WE ALL CARRY SOMETHING Some burdens are visible - grief, stress, financial strain, strained relationships. Others live quietly in the shadows of shame, fear, depression and the pressure to be everything for everyone. For men, these weights often go unnoticed or unspoken. Conditioned to be providers, protectors, and problem-solvers, many men are silently suffocating under the expectations of what it means to be "strong". At Heart of Truth, we believe true strength doesn't come from how much you carry; it comes from your willingness to face the weight, name it, and take steps towards healing. That's why we are hosting THE WEIGHT WE CARRY: A MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH SUMMIT. This is a space designed to break the silence, challenge harmful myths, and invite men into honest conversation about mental health, family, faith and identity. WHY DOES THIS MATTER Because men are hurting too . Suicide rates, substance use, and untreated mental illness remain dangerously high among men - especially Black men, fathers, faith leaders and those in underserved communities. Because silence is not strength . Many men have been taught that showing emotion is weakness. But bottling up pain only makes the load heavier. Healing starts with permission to feel, to speak, to be fully human. Because we all benefit when men heal . Healthy men build healthy homes, raise grounded children, and lead with compassion and integrity. WHAT TO EXPECT On June 21, 2025, four dynamic speakers will address the real-life challenges men face and the hidden weights they carry. Topics will include: Societal oppression and identity Balancing mental health with family and leadership Faith and emotional honesty Building foundations for emotional resilience FINAL THOUGHTS You may be carrying more than you've ever said out loud. You may know a man who is. Either way, you are not alone... and you don't have to keep holding it all in silence. This summit is an invitation: To pause. To reflect. To be seen. To rise strong. Join us for "THE WEIGHT WE CARRY" - June 21, 2025 at 11am (Virtual Event) Register now Let's lighten the load together. With Love, Beloved! Lisha G.
